Shoebox fixtures are what sits on top of the poles in a parking lot. Ours use Philips LEDs and a cutoff optic that puts light on the pavement instead of into your neighbor's windows.

Sizing by pole height

A common layout is one fixture every 60 to 80 feet down a drive aisle. Corners and entrances usually want a second fixture aimed across.

Property managers and dark lots

A dark lot is a liability and a tenant complaint. LED shoeboxes give you even, white light that makes security cameras usable at night — metal halide's orange-yellow output is what turns your footage into a smear. And because the fixtures hold their brightness, the lot looks the same in year five as in year one.
