Information we collect

Device information. When you visit the Site we automatically collect your browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie information, the pages and products you view, search terms, and how you interact with the Site. We use this to load the Site correctly and to understand how it's used. It's collected through cookies, log files, web beacons, tags and pixels, and shared with our processor, Shopify.

Order information. When you buy something we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including card numbers, which are handled by our payment processor and not stored by us), email address and phone number. We use it to fulfill your order, process payment, arrange shipping, send invoices and order confirmations, communicate with you, screen orders for fraud, and — where you've agreed — send you information about our products.

Customer support information. When you contact us by phone, email or the contact form, we keep what you send us so we can help you, handle warranty claims, and prepare lighting layouts. If you send us building dimensions or photos for a layout, we use them only for that purpose.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

How long we keep information

We keep order records for as long as we need them to support your warranty, handle returns and meet our tax and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete information we're not required to keep.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to receive a copy of it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. European residents. If you're in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, port or erase your personal information, and to object to or restrict how we process it. We process your information to fulfill our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, and for our legitimate interests in running and improving the business. Your information may be transferred to and stored in the United States.

Automated decision-making. We do not make decisions about you using fully automated processing. Shopify applies limited automated fraud screening, such as temporarily blocklisting IP addresses and cards associated with repeated failed transactions.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file downloaded to your device when you visit a site. Cookies let the Site remember your cart, keep you logged in and remember your preferences, and they tell us how the Site is being used.

We use cookies necessary for the store to work (cart, checkout, customer login, admin access) and cookies for reporting and analytics (Shopify analytics, landing page and referral tracking, tracking preferences).

Most cookies we use are persistent and expire between 30 minutes and two years after they're set. Session cookies end when you stop browsing.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and payment card details are encrypted in transit and handled by our payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
