Do you sell to the public, or only to contractors?
Both. We sell to anyone — homeowners, contractors, electricians, property managers and businesses. There is no account to open and no minimum order. Buying a single fixture is fine.
Can I pick up my order instead of paying shipping?
Yes. We are at 2808 S Burleson Blvd Unit 10, Burleson, TX 76028, open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 2:30pm. Place your order online, then call 817-440-4862 to arrange a time. An appointment is best because this is a warehouse, not a storefront, and it means someone is waiting to load you.
Do you offer bulk or contractor pricing?
Yes. Larger quantities are priced below what you see on the site. Call 817-440-4862 or send us the fixture and quantity and we will quote it. We do this often for full-building conversions.
Will you tell me how many fixtures my building needs?
Yes, free. Send us your ceiling height, the length and width of the building, and what you do in the space. We come back with a fixture count, a wattage and a spacing plan. There is no charge and no obligation.
Do you install the lights?
No. We supply the fixtures; you supply the electrician. Everything arrives ready to hardwire, and any commercial electrician can hang them. We are happy to answer their questions about the fixtures.
What warranty do the fixtures carry?
Most commercial fixtures carry a 5-year warranty. We have been in business since 2010 at the same address, so there is somebody here to honor it.
Are your lights UL Listed and DLC certified?
The commercial line is UL Listed, and most models are DLC Premium listed, which is what utility rebate programs require. Ask us for the DLC listing number of any fixture and we will send it for your rebate paperwork.
Can I get a utility rebate for switching to LED?
Usually, if the fixture is DLC listed. Texas utilities including Oncor run commercial lighting incentive programs that pay based on the wattage you remove. Apply before you install — most programs will not pay retroactively.
What LED wattage replaces my 400W metal halide?
150W. The general rule is about one third the wattage: 250W metal halide becomes 100W LED, 400W becomes 150W, 600W becomes 200W, and 1000W becomes 300W to 400W. Our full chart is on the metal halide to LED conversion page.
What is the difference between UFO and linear high bays?
UFO high bays are round and throw a circular pattern, which suits open floor space. Linear high bays throw a rectangle, which suits racking aisles, service bays and long narrow rooms. Many buildings use both.
What color temperature should I choose?
5000K daylight white is the standard for warehouses, shops and garages. 4000K is a softer neutral for offices and mixed spaces. 3000K is warm and mostly used in showrooms. Many of our high bays and wall packs let you switch between all three on the fixture.
Are the fixtures dimmable?
The commercial high bays are 0-10V dimmable and the dimming leads are already wired in. Low voltage strips and bars dim with an in-line, knob or plug-in dimmer, or with a dimmable driver if you want to control them from a wall switch.
What voltage do the commercial fixtures run on?
Most accept 85-265V, so the same fixture works on 120V or 277V. Check the individual product page for the exact range.
How do I size a power supply for LED strip or bar lighting?
Add up the wattage of everything on that supply and choose one rated at least 20 percent higher. A 100W load wants a 120W supply or larger. Running a supply at its limit makes it hot and shortens its life.
How bright is your LED tape light?
We sell it in three tiers. 100 lumens per foot is accent light — a glow, not a work light. 250 lumens per foot lights a countertop or shelf. 650 lumens per foot is bright enough to be the primary light in the space.
Which aquarium light do I need for coral?
For a mixed reef, most people run 12000K white paired with actinic blue, either as separate bars or as a 50/50 bar. SPS and deep blue tanks want blue heavy or 20,000K. Planted freshwater wants 6500K or 8000K white. Send us your tank dimensions and what you keep and we will tell you what fits.
Do you ship outside Texas?
Yes, we ship nationwide. Local pickup in Burleson is available for Dallas-Fort Worth customers who would rather skip the shipping charge and the wait.
